Late HAJI M. S. Siah :After completing his education in then most prestigious Mission high School, he jumped into the fray and joined the professional trade of houseboats running and organized travels and tours to the far off corners of the valley. With little resources but using brains and brawn and subsequently going through the mill, he succeeded in establishing a name in the travel circles and created a fleet of deluxe houseboats, attracting wide recognition. He visited Europe in 1952 and traveled in a HAMILTON car right from Kashmir to Europe, the first Kashmiri to take such a rendezvous trip. In the interest of protection of wild life many camps were organized in Kashmir and LADAKH. In lieu of meritorious services rendered, he was felicitated and presented a Gold Medal in Switzerland in 1979. He was a man of great charm, and dignity and loved humor very much. Now today after Late HAJI M.S.Siah his sons Mohammad Altaf Siah and Zahoor Ahmed Siah joined Together to move their fathers legacy forward. With their talent they have made United Group to be counted Among the Top Group of Companies in Kashmir and India. Zahoor Ahmed Siah, The youngest son of Late. HAJI M.S. Siah, Graduated from one of the Renowned Universities of India, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in the year 2000. He was awarded a Scholarship from Govt of China to study Chinese in one of the famous Universities in Beijing, BLCU. During his studies he found that china is a very potential market and established the first Indian Tour Operator Sales Company in Beijing. He is the person to create awareness about Kashmir Houseboats (India Tourism) among Chinese Tour Operators. He is the person to modify the working style and pattern of Houseboats and converting them to most luxurious class by introducing most modern facilities / wifi internet facilities / in room entertainments etc. He shares great relations with the hospitality industry professionals. He also is Business IT consultant for many companies around the globe like EVision (USA), Energetix (USA), Safe N Secure (USA), Global Feather (CHINA), Huanyu (Dubai) to name a few. From little corner of the valley sons of the Legendary Late HAJI M. S. Siah spread the company to far off corners of the Globe with its presence and office in New Delhi (India) , Japan, Russia, China , UAE and Nepal.
